Again... Miss District of Columbia Wins Miss USA 2017

Kára McCullough, a 25-year-old chemist working for the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, now advances to compete in the Miss Universe contest. For the second year in a row, Miss District of Columbia has won Miss USA.

Kára McCullough, Miss District Of Columbia USA 2017, is crowned the new Miss USA by Miss USA 2016, Deshauna Barber on stage at the conclusion of the two-hour special programming event on FOX from the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino on Sunday, May 14. The new winner will move to New York City where she will live during her reign and become a spokesperson for various causes alongside The Miss Universe Organization.
